Personal online tuition with Lee Pullen
Online Astrophotography Masterclass
A practical session built around your equipment, your images, and the next thing you want to learn.
I photograph deep space from central Bristol, where light pollution is part of every imaging session. We can work through the choices that make a difference under bright skies, from choosing equipment to processing the data you already have.
After purchase, I’ll contact you to arrange a date and time.
Who’s it for?
The session is aimed at beginners and intermediate astrophotographers. You might be planning your first setup, trying to improve your results with a one shot colour camera, or finding your way through PixInsight.
It’s designed as one-to-one tuition, and small groups are welcome too. The price is per session rather than per attendee.
Bring a specific problem or a broader goal. We’ll agree a useful focus for the hour rather than trying to cover every part of astrophotography at once.
What could we work on?
Equipment choices
Work through a proposed setup, the field of view you need, and the practical trade-offs between cameras, telescopes, and filters.
Better data
Discuss target choice, framing, focus, guiding, and building an imaging project across several nights under light-polluted skies.
Processing
Use your own data or discuss examples to understand stacking, background correction, stretching, colour, and the next step in your PixInsight workflow.
How it works
- Book a session. Complete your purchase through the booking page.
- Choose a focus and a time. I’ll contact you to arrange the Zoom session and discuss what you want to get from it.
- Work through it together. We’ll spend an hour on the agreed topic, with room for questions and practical examples.
- Keep in touch. Ongoing email support is included, so you can ask follow-up questions and share your progress.
What should I prepare?
A short note about your experience, the equipment or software you use, and the main thing you want to improve is a useful start. If we’re looking at processing, tell me what data you have so we can agree what to use.
Bring a few questions and, if helpful, an example image showing where you’re stuck. You don’t need a finished image or a clear night for an online session.
“Lee’s teaching style is clear and engaging, and I appreciated how he broke down complex techniques into manageable steps.”
Ready to work on your next step?
A one-hour Zoom session costs £80, including tax, with ongoing email support. We’ll arrange the date and time after purchase. If you’re buying for someone else, I can email a gift voucher.
